Privacy policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026 / Operator: Soichiro Takashima fan site administrator

This privacy policy sets out how the Soichiro Takashima Official Fan Site (https://19741101.com/ and the kids' site “Soichiro Takashima and Little Duck” at https://ahiru.19741101.com/; together, “the Site”) handles information about its users.

This page is a translation provided for reference only. If this translation and the Japanese original differ in any way, the Japanese original prevails.

1. About the Site

The Site is an official fan site run by volunteers. It is not operated by Soichiro Takashima himself or by Fukuoka City, and we do not provide any information collected through the Site to Soichiro Takashima himself or to Fukuoka City.

2. Information we collect

The Site collects the following information.

Google Account information — When we issue a Takashima Booster ID, we authenticate you with your Google Account. In doing so, we receive from Google, and store, an ID that identifies you (the subject identifier) and your email address. We use your email address to manage membership records, to send you a notice when you register (a welcome email), to send you our email newsletter, the Takashima Letter (including records of when it was sent and to which address), and to respond to inquiries and deletion requests. We also store a hash of your email address for matching purposes. We do not store your name or profile picture.

Takashima Booster progress — The number issued to you and the date and time it was issued; records of whether you have completed each of these steps: adding the site to your home screen, following the podcast (self-reported), following on social media, sharing, and beating Soichiro Takashima's record in the game; and a record of whether you have reached God-tier Takashima Booster.

Game scores — In the game “Challenge Soichiro Takashima”: the scores you record (your all-time and daily best scores), the stages you played and how many times, the date and time of each record, and the name shown on the leaderboard (if you chose one yourself). Scores are published on the Site in the global leaderboard. We publish only the name shown on the leaderboard (if you have not chosen one, your Takashima Booster number, or “Takashima Booster Cadet” followed by four letters or numbers), together with your score and rank. We never publish your email address or any other information that could identify you personally. Please do not include your real name or any other information that could identify you personally in the name shown on the leaderboard.

Game scores when you play without logging in — You can play the game without a Takashima Booster ID (that is, without logging in). Even then, your scores are sent to the Site's servers and appear in the global leaderboard. To keep your records together, we issue a random passphrase for each device and store it both on our servers and on your device (in local storage). If you later get a Takashima Booster ID, that device's scores are carried over to your ID. Scores from the game on the kids' site “Soichiro Takashima and Little Duck” are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers.

Posts to “Teach AI Takashima a dialect” — In “Teach AI Takashima ◯◯ dialect” on the dialect videos, after signing in with your Google account, you can post proposals that rewrite AI Takashima’s lines, likes on proposals, and comments. We store the content and date/time of your posts and your display name (a name you choose; if you have not chosen one, your Takashima Booster ranking name or number, or “Guest” if you do not have a Takashima Booster ID), and publish them on this site. We publish only your display name, the content and date/time of your posts, and the number of likes; we never publish your email address. You can delete your posts at any time (deleted posts are no longer published and are kept only as an administrative record). Please do not put your real name or any other personally identifiable information in your display name.

Information stored on your device — Your progress, such as the pages you have viewed and the number of flames you have, is stored on your device (in local storage). This information is used to display the Site, and you can delete it through your device settings.

Information used by the AR camera — The AR camera (/ar) uses your camera feed and your device's orientation (its motion and orientation sensors). These are used only on your device, to display the picture frame and create photos, and are never sent to or stored on the Site's servers. Photos you take are saved to your device when you choose to save them. When you place the “Mochi no Ron” radio in the AR camera, the list of episodes is fetched from the Site's server and the episode audio is played from its host (RSS.com), just as on the Podcast page. When you place the “Takashima TV” television, the videos are played in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), just as on the Takashima TV page. When you touch a book on the bookshelf, that book's Amazon page (an external site) opens in a new tab. The AR camera (/ar) on the kids' site “Soichiro Takashima and Little Duck” (ahiru.19741101.com) likewise uses your camera feed and device orientation only on your device and does not send them anywhere (it has no radio, television, or bookshelf, and does not play any external video or audio).

Usage statistics — To improve the Site, we count and record how many times each event happened on a given day. We record only the date, the name of the event, and the count. In addition, to count visitors (users per day and per month) without double-counting, we convert IP addresses and similar data into a code that is valid for that day only and cannot be reversed, and compare those codes. We do not store IP addresses themselves, and because the code changes every day, the same user cannot be tracked from one day to the next. This information cannot be used to identify any individual.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes.

• To issue Takashima Booster IDs and to show the same number to the same user
• To carry over your Takashima Booster progress after you change phones or when you use another device
• To record game scores and display the leaderboards (name or number, plus score and rank)
• To show proposals, likes and comments in “Teach AI Takashima a dialect” and to improve the dialect videos
• To understand how the Site is used and to improve what it displays
• To send you one notice email (a welcome email) when you register (this one email is sent even if you opted out of the Takashima Letter when registering)
• To send you our email newsletter, the Takashima Letter (you can stop receiving it at any time from your membership card settings or via the unsubscribe link in each email)
• To respond to inquiries from users

4. Sharing with third parties

Except as provided by law, we do not provide the information we collect to any third party. To process information, we use the services of the following companies.

• Google LLC (account authentication)
• Cloudflare, Inc. (storing Takashima Booster numbers and running the API)
• Vercel Inc. (delivering the Site)
• Resend (sending Takashima Letter emails)

5. Retention period

We keep Takashima Booster IDs and progress information until the Site stops operating or until we receive a request for deletion from the user. If we stop operating the Site, we will delete the information we hold.

6. Requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion

If you would like the information we hold about you to be disclosed, corrected, or deleted, please contact us using the details below. We will respond promptly once we have confirmed your identity. If your information is deleted, the Takashima Booster ID already issued to you will become invalid, and the same number cannot be issued again.

7. Use of cookies and similar technologies

The Site does not use cookies. Your settings and progress are stored in local storage on your device. You can turn this off in your browser settings, but if you do, your Takashima Booster progress may not be kept.

8. Ownership of rights

The rights to the photos, videos, and figures on the Site belong to their respective rights holders.

9. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy as necessary. If we do, we will post the changes on this page.
